Johanna Heureaux-Torres

Johanna Heureaux-Torres is an energy campaigns analyst at The Sierra Club. Their work supports national campaigns in stopping the expansion of fracked gas in the electric sector and liquefied exports (LNG). They are a co-author of the Permit to Kill report, along with Tim and Andres; a first of its kind analysis that investigates the direct health impacts to communities across the U.S. from the LNG exports buildout. Johanna grew up in the South Bronx and has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
