Lyle C. May is an incarcerated journalist whose work has appeared in the Brooklyn Law School Journal of Law and Policy, America Magazine, The Intercept, Scalawag Magazine, Inside Higher Education, College Inside, and other publications. His recently published book "Witness: An Insider's Narrative of the Carceral State" is now available through Haymarket Books.
