Maryam Hassanein

Maryam Hassanein was a Biden-Harris administration political appointee at the Department of the Interior who resigned from the administration last summer in opposition to their handling of Israel-Gaza and the harm caused to Palestinians. She was the first Muslim appointee and youngest to publicly resign, and now she currently dedicates to her time to Palestine-centered advocacy.
