Dr. R. Self Jr. is the author of the 2024 book “Thought Choice Power: Charting the Course of Liberty in Modern Society,” published under the pen name Plebeius. In this book, based on and built around the actual words of our historical top 20 Presidents (before JFK in hopes of avoiding today’s partisanship), he explores the interplay between our foundational principles, governance, and the choices that shape our collective future. With a deep appreciation of American history and its relevance to modern society, he aims to connect our foundational principles to today’s challenges and to encourage thoughtful dialogue.
