Sharon Lavigne

  • A longtime resident of St. James Parish in Louisiana, Sharon Lavigne founded Rise St. James to advocate for environmental justice. Lavigne was awarded the Goldman Environmental Prize, dubbed the Green Nobel, in 2021.
