Indivisible Groups Join "Nobody Is Above The Law" Day of Action to Call for the Release of the Mueller Report

On Thursday, April 4, Indivisible will mobilize for the "Nobody is Above the Law" Day of Action to call on Attorney General William Barr to release the full, unredacted Mueller report.

WASHINGTON

On Thursday, April 4, Indivisible will mobilize for the "Nobody is Above the Law" Day of Action to call on Attorney General William Barr to release the full, unredacted Mueller report. Alongside coalition partners -- including MoveOn, Public Citizen, People For the American Way -- Indivisible will hold more than 300 events across the country on Thursday to make it clear that people want the report to be made public. Most protests will start at 5 pm local time. In Washington D.C., a flagship rally will be held in front of the White House.

"Barr and the Trump administration have drawn unverifiable conclusions from a report no one else has been allowed to see while ignoring the overwhelming majority of Americans who want it to be made public," Indivisible's national policy director Angel Padilla said. "On Thursday, the people will make it clear that they want the report and they want it now. We hope Barr listens."

Despite Democrats and Republicans voting in unison to demand that the Justice Department publicly release the report, Barr is still keeping the public in the dark. He has offered an alternative timeline for releasing a redacted report, but the public deserves to know the whole truth. Democrats are ready to issue a subpoena for the report and Indivisible groups will stand with the coalition to demand transparency in government.

Indivisible Project (501c4) drives coordinated campaigns, powering the grassroots Indivisible movement to defeat the rightwing takeover of American government and win an inclusive democracy and bold progressive policies.
