Bipartisan Majority of Voters Support Extending Temporary Visas to Ukrainian Refugees

A new poll released today by Data for Progress finds a bipartisan 65

WASHINGTON

A new poll released today by Data for Progress finds a bipartisan 65 percent of likely voters support the federal government extending temporary visas to Ukrainian refugees. More than half a million Ukrainians have already fled the country following the Russian invasion.

The poll also finds a majority of likely voters oppose sending U.S. military personnel into Ukraine and say the U.S. should not take military action against Russia. In addition:

  • 75% of voters support imposing sanctions on Russian political leaders.

  • 69% of voters support imposing sanctions on the entire Russian economy.

  • 61% of voters support sending military equipment to Ukraine.
