David Graeber

  • David Graeber was an American anthropologist, political activist and author. He was a reader in social anthropology at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and was formerly an associate professor of anthropology at Yale University. David was a member of the labor union Industrial Workers of the World, and played a role in events such as the 2002 New York protests against the World Economic Forum. His 2011 book was "Debt: The First 5,000 Years." His 2019 book was "Bullshit Jobs: A Theory." Graeber died on September 2, 2020, in a Venice hospital at the age of 59.
